Pese a estas declaraciones oficiales a Chávez no le fue nada bien en Libia. Fue
a vender la bicicleta al inventor de la misma. El joven coronel Kadaffy ya hizo
su revolución unipersonal en los 70 , aprovechó la renta petrolera para quedarse
con el 7 % de las acciones de la Fiat en su momento -luego las revendió con
ganancia -y amainó tanto sus actividades terroristas como su interés en la causa
árabe que fracasó tanto con Egipto como con Siria. En este caso Chávez no pudo
hablar ante las masas. Libia es reservada, Kadaffy supero esa etapa carismática,
es un nómade, su guardia personal son mujeres coreanas bien entrenadas. En el
resto no confía.
Tampoco le interesa malquistarse con
los europeos, ya negoció con Londres el pago a las victimas de los atentados
contra aviones efectuados por sus comandos hace muchos años. Tampoco estaba
presente el general Pervez Musharraf, presidente del Pakistan, que tiene otros

President Hugo Chavez, al-Gathafi International Prize for Human Rights laureate,
who arrived earlier on a visit to Great Jamahiriya.
Following the playing of the national anthem of Venezuela and"Allahu Akbar "
anthem, President Chavez, accompanied by the Leader, reviewed the Guard of Honor
that lined up to salute them.
Taking part in his grand reception accorded to the Venezuelan President, were
the acting General Coordinator of Social People's Leadership of Great Jamahiriya,
a number of coordinators of SPL in Tripoli Shabia, the Secretary and members of
the General People's Committee , Secretary of People's Committee of the National
Oil Corporation, a number of Officers of the Armed People and Public Security
and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Great Jamahiriya.
After President Chavez shacked hands with the welcoming party, he introduced to
the Leader, members of the Venezuelan delegation accompanying him with whom the
Leader shake hands.
President Chavez of Venezuela, winner of Gathafi International Prize for Human
Rights arrived At Tripoli International Airport, earlier Wednesday afternoon,
where he was received at the Airport, by Maj.Gen. Mustafa Mohammed Al-Kharubi.
The Secretaries of GPCs for Foreign Liaison and International Cooperation and
Industry, Power and Mines, the secretaries of Cooperation Affairs of the two
Americas Affairs at the GPC for Foreign Liaison and International Cooperation
and the Ambassador of Venezuela and members of the embassy accredited to Great
Jamahiriya, also attended this reception ceremony at the airport.
